History of Establishment

The Mahdaviyat Center was established in Ordibehesht 1391 (April–May 2012) with the mission of fostering cultural groundwork for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi—may God hasten his noble reappearance.

About the Center

Objectives:

1. Clarifying the Paradigm of Expectation: Explaining the correct paradigm of Entezar (Waiting/Expectation) based on the perspective of pure Muhammadan Islam and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, utilizing the viewpoints of Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him) and the Supreme Leader.
2. Following the Supreme Leader: Adhering to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution as the deputy (Na’ib) of Imam Mahdi—may God hasten his noble reappearance.
3. Deepening Religious Beliefs: Establishing and deepening religious beliefs and attitudes among the target audience.
4. Strengthening Religious Aspirations: Fostering and reinforcing religious motivation and idealism among students.
5. Promoting Practical Expectation: Promoting a practical and tangible culture of Entezar.
6. Disseminating Knowledge: Promoting religious and Mahdavi knowledge.
7. Environmental Scanning: Continually monitoring and identifying threats, opportunities, and conducting critical analysis of the current state of the university, society, and the world in the path toward achieving a Mahdavi society.
8. Networking and Synergy: Maintaining continuous contact with activists and organizations related to Mahdaviyat, while monitoring, analyzing, and providing direction for Mahdavi activities.
9. Talent Development: Identifying and nurturing talents to meet the societal needs required for the realization of a Mahdavi society.
