Introduction to the Theater and Performance Center
History of Establishment
The Theater and Performance Center was established in Azar 1391 (November–December 2012) through the collective efforts of students, with the aim of contributing to the advancement of culture and art within the university. Furthermore, this center, in collaboration with the Vice Presidency for Cultural and Student Affairs, strives to optimize the leisure time of the university’s students.
About the Center
Objectives:
- Promoting Collective Work: Expanding the culture and spirit of teamwork by forming various theater groups across the university.
- Focusing on Fundamental Performing Arts: Addressing theater as the foundational performing art.
- Supporting Student Initiatives: Supporting spontaneous student groups that are active in the field of theater or aspire to engage in it.
- Education and Training: Providing training to theater enthusiasts in various aspects of this art form.
- Enriching Leisure Time: Utilizing theater to provide productive leisure activities for students.
- Coordination and Networking: Managing and coordinating the university’s theatrical activities by establishing connections between theater groups across different faculties and various associations interested in this art.
