History of Establishment

The Mersad Student Basij began its activities at the university in Mehr 1386 (October 2007). Since the outset of its establishment, the Student Basij has maintained a notable presence across cultural, scientific, artistic, research, educational, political, and other fields, and has consistently demonstrated effective cooperation with both students and the university.

Introduction to the Organization

In order to achieve its objectives, the Student Basij pursues the following approaches:

• Recruiting, training, and organizing volunteer students.
• Familiarizing students with the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom, and introducing the role models of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense.
• Contributing to the development of cultural, scientific, and defense-related research in line with the country’s progress and development.
• Preserving and promoting the spirit of resistance against global arrogance among students.
• Organizing commemorative ceremonies, conferences, festivals, and competitions as needed.
• Holding cultural, scientific, and defense-oriented courses, camps, and classes.
• Publishing booklets and student publications of the Student Basij in accordance with the regulations approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and the relevant directives.
• Cooperating with university officials and student organizations in accordance with the rules and directives of the Basij Resistance Force.
