History of Establishment

The Quran and Etrat Center of the university was established in Ordibehesht 1390 (April–May 2011) with the mission of promoting Quranic teachings and the traditions (Seerah) of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them).

About the Center

Objectives:

1. Foundational Knowledge and Practice: Creating a foundation for acquiring a fundamental level of knowledge regarding the Quran and Etrat, striving to enhance these teachings for oneself and others, and implementing the traditions of the two great trusts of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
2. Growth of Activities: Promoting both the quantity and quality of Quran and Etrat-related activities within the student community, with the aim of increasing participation and fostering a deep bond with these teachings.
3. Capacity Building: Empowering interested students to establish and organize the Quran and Etrat Center within the university and preparing them to take on responsibilities in larger Quranic organizations.
4. Modern Outreach: Utilizing appropriate and modern communication and publicity tools to achieve the center’s objectives and promote a “soft-power” intellectual movement.
5. Expert Training: Training specialized individuals in the fields of Quran and Etrat studies, including active members and talented students of the university.
6. Inclusivity and Engagement: Endeavoring to attract talented individuals, as well as engaging broader, less involved segments of the student body, to join the Quran and Etrat community.
