History of Establishment

The Mathematics Scientific Association was established in Ordibehesht 1390 (April–May 2011) through the initiative and efforts of the department’s students. Historically, this association has been one of the most active scientific bodies at the university, recognized for organizing student book fairs, academic conferences, and various competitions, such as Sudoku tournaments.

About the Association

Active participation in student scientific associations not only aligns with the overarching goals of the higher education system but also provides an ideal platform for cultivating professional and life skills, including teamwork, interpersonal communication, and the development of critical thinking. In this regard, scientific associations at the university collaborate with the Office of Cultural and Social Affairs to support students interested in diverse educational and research activities, significantly contributing to the enhancement of the university’s academic standards.
