History of Establishment

The Student Justice-Seeking Movement was established in Esfand 1391 (February–March 2013) with the aim of expanding political activities at the university. Over the years, this Islamic student organization has played a significant role in promoting political awareness and engagement across the university by organizing conferences, lectures, and various other programs.

About the Organization

The Student Justice-Seeking Movement is one of Iran’s student unions. Its overall approach focuses on advocating justice, critically evaluating the performance of public officials and institutions, holding them accountable, and addressing political and social issues.

The Movement regards itself as independent of political factions and does not subscribe to the country’s conventional political and factional divisions. It considers addressing social problems and improving the effectiveness of the Islamic system among its primary objectives.

The Movement has been active in various political, social, and international fields. Its principal areas of concern include poverty, advocacy for the underprivileged and vulnerable groups, social problems, administrative and economic corruption within government institutions, anti-imperialist initiatives, support for liberation movements, and economic issues and policies.

The organization regards the thought and conduct of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the principles of the Islamic Revolution as its guiding framework.
